In previous posts, we've invited you to see and get to know some of the tourist spots in Malaysia that are required for your visit. These places include :
Kuala Lumpur,

Langkawi island. But this time we will invite you to visit other areas in Malaysia which also has many interesting places to visit, this area was named
Melaka / Malacca. Located 148 km from Kuala Lumpur, which is reached by traveling overland approximately 2 hours. Towards Melaka can use the bus from Kuala Lumpur and Genting, City of Melaka is a historical city, and is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 7th 2008 So it can be imagined as an old town like in another cities, and indeed the average home here maintained original form the architecture of China.

And here are some places you can visit during a tour in the Melaka region - Malaysia :
1. Stadthuys - Red Square
:
Located in the city center, it is easy to see because the building complex is red and it is known by the name of Red Square. Originally a Dutch Governor spot, and was used as a school and is now the Museum of History and Ethnography, Admiral Cheng Ho Gallery, Museum of Literature, Democracy Government Museum, and one of the old museum in the State. Estimated is the oldest Dutch building in Southeast Asia that is still in use.
2. St Peter's Church
:
The church was built in 1710 when the Dutch government, and this is the oldest Catholic church in Malaysia which is still functioning.
3. Queen Victoria Fountain :
In front of the Christ Church there is a fountain of Queen Victoria, which was built in 1904 by the British government and became a landmark in Melaka and is still functioning today.
4. Christ Church
:
Its location next to the complex Stadthuys, built since 1741, and was completed in 1753 and is the oldest Protestant church in Malaysia which is still in use today. In front of Christ Church are rickshaw bases decorated by trinkets and usually have a sound system, so that tourists can rent to get around while accompanied by music
5. St Paul's Church
:
The church is located on the hill St. Paul and established in 1521, originally was a church building with a simple form that is then expanded several times. The building was destroyed during the war leaving only the skeleton of the building. Inside the former church building there are several tombstones, and also the former tomb of St. Francis Xavier, who pioneered the establishment of a school in this place. Even to commemorate his services, was established monument statue in front of the church building.
6. Melaka River :
Down along the Melaka River may be encountered several tourist spots such as the Melaka Sultanate Watermill, some of the rest of the fortress with it's cannon, and also the Tourist Information Center (the right place if you want to go to the bathroom).
7. A Famosa
:
Is a fort built by Portuguese settlers, located at the foot of St Paul's Hill. The building was destroyed during the war, but still can be seen form the entrance. Santiago's Gate is one of the four entrances to the A Famosa. Began construction in 1512 under the leadership of Alfonso de Albuquerque
8. Melaka Sultanate Palace (Cultural Museum)
:
At the foot of the hill of St. Paul (next to Gate Santiago), there is a replica of the palace of the Sultan of Malacca which is made of wood. Now used as a Cultural Museum.
